Currently, I am a senior at Vermont State University formerly known as Castleton University. I’m on track to graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing in May of 2025. Prior to attending Castleton University, I went to High School at Phillipsburg, New Jersey where I played basketball, baseball, and football. I also worked for four years as a delivery driver for a pizza restaurant in New Jersey. These tasks helped me create time management skills, commitment, and most importantly my values. High School was just the steppingstone to growing up for me because after graduating I started working as a land surveyor. This has been the most important decision in my life because the job has provided me with multiple skills that I will always carry with me in that career or any other career I decide to go into. I want to own my own business. I understand it is very broad but I believe it would be the most fulfilling job I could have once I get to that point because I can provide others with the opportunity to work. I work as a part time land surveyor and the job is great, I enjoy the opportunity to learn from blue collared workers and to understand and appreciate the craft. It has shaped me into believing in hard work and anything is obtainable as long as you put hard work into it. It has also made me believe that you get what you put into things, meaning you got to be willing to put the work in to get what you want. Whether I own my own business in retail, finance, or whatever I go into I know I’ll work hard to get to where I want to be.

  I have worked on countless jobs and projects at my company since I have started working. I started out as a grunt, essentially being told what to do and performing manual labor. I have worked on basic boundary locations and worked on topographic locations. Now I am still the same grunt performing manual labor, but through my on job experience I have gathered the skills needed to accurately, responsibly, and efficiently. complete my job duties.
