I developed relationships with veteran organizations and stakeholders, and federal partners to ascertain and communicate veterans needs to the congressional member. As a casework professional I assisted constituents by communicating their concerns to federal agency's, advocating for a positive resolution. In my role as lead caseworker I trained oncoming coworkers in casework best practices, federal contacts, and agency training opportunities to stay up to date with policy or regulatory changes, practices, and professional development opportunities. I created and successfully managed the Congressman's Service Academy nomination program for between 2018-2022 years , and the Congressional App Challenge competition in 2022 leading to the second highest amount of applicants nationally for a congressional district.
