Patrick Rule is a partner and wealth advisor with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. He and his team help ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and entrepreneurs protect, grow, and efficiently transfer their wealth. He joined William Blair from the Private Banking Business of Wintrust Financial where he led the Chicago office. He previously worked at PNC Financial in their Private Client Group. Patrick received his B.A. in Economics from Denison University.Currently, Patrick serves on the Chairman’s Advisory Counsel of Big Shoulder’s Fund and is active board member of Lookingglass Theatre Company. While at Denison University, he was a four-year starter on the football team and Defensive MVP. Patrick was inducted into the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame in 2004. He and his wife, Kari, along with their three children live in Clarendon Hills, IL. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and any type of outdoor physical activity.
