I am a seasoned business and finance leader with a proven track record of success. My broad career experiences and responsibilities have given me a unique skillset that can be applied to many facets of a business.I received my master’s degree in Finance and went to work in risk management for a large trading company. In addition to trading, I was in charge of the transportation assets and selling the largest natural gas storage facility in the country at that time. That experience gave me a valuable and applicable understanding of markets, business operations, team development and asset management. I was then hired to lead the Financial Risk Management department in Treasury for a large multi-national company. I led the development and business of hedging that was very successful in reducing costs and optimizing earnings. I then moved into the buy side of the business where my team managed the largest costs for the company, and we were successful in managing risk consistent with our business’s strategy. After that, I was charged with running a large global business. My team set a margin record by understanding the market we were participating in and in defending our value proposition with our customers. I also did a stint in the Corporate Development department where I led a team that bought a large business in Germany. Lastly, I worked in Government and managed a team responsible for all financial matters.I am a hard-working strategic minded business leader that takes great pride in developing employees.
