I have been involved in agriculture since I was a young boy and entered into a formal agricultural education for 4 years at Bishop Burton Agricultural college. At 20 I started a 20 year career in the agricultural merchant trade working for Halmshams, Kenneth Wilson, Ceres and Gleadells.I took a 12 year gap from agriculture to work as a senior manager in the financial services industry with Cardsave. Over the years I undertook various adult night courses at Grimsby college and studied business and marketing for three years and Horticulture for two years. I now ran my own business, Bionature Agriculture supplying specialist agricultural nutrition enjoying a good deal of success breaking many U.K and world yield records.In 2016 I decided to follow a dream, buying a traditional fish curing business based in Grimsby. I now own a 100 year old smoke house which produces fabulous smoked haddock and wonderful smoked salmon following a time honoured cold smoking process unchanged for many decades. Alfred enderby traditionally smoked fish has a national reputation of superior quality and it is a joy to be part of its production team.
