The Branch Installation Manager (BIM) is responsible for managing installation operations for two independent businesses and their respective job flow processes. The installed products for Home Depot Exteriors (HDE) involves windows and exterior doors while the installed products for Home Depot Interiors (HDI) involves cabinet refacing, countertop, backsplash, and home organization (e.g. closet & garage). Each business requires management of different job flow process methods with HDI operating in a decentralized job management model and HDE operating in a centralized model. The BIM also manages the warehouse and field installation teams including assistant install managers in HDI and installation service managers in HDE with different job duties tied to their respective business. Direct report team duties include job site pre-installation inspections, job in-process site audits, post install services, sourcing 3rd party installers, 3rd party installer compliance, and 3rd party installer line-reviews.Accountabilities include meeting or exceeding installed revenue targets, customer satisfaction install targets, margin, cycle time, backlog conversion, and leading through the THD values to ensure the branch is operating as an engaged team supporting our customers.

The Area Installation Specialist (AIS) is responsible for assisting with the customer experience throughout the installation job life cycle. This includes Pre-Installation Inspections (PIIs) which involves assessing pre-existing conditions, performing measure affirmations (order reviews), and re-measuring each assigned job to ensure the contract’s products and measurements are accurate and match the customer’s expectations prior to material ordering. The PIIs phase can include adjustments to the job scope via Contract Amendments (CAs). As the job progresses, the AIS will conduct Job Site Inspections (JSIs) to review quality of work, conduct service provider badging checks, and meet with customers to ensure the install experience is consistent with THD standards. The JSI phase will further include resolving customer complaints, making decisions needed to prevent cycle-time delays, determining additional work with the service provider, and approving or escalating project changes prior to moving forward. At the end of the install process the AIS will ensure all open items are completed to the customer’s satisfaction.

Managed Warehouse Ensures site and warehouse safety standards and compliance, cleanliness and organization. Assists with completion of open services in a timely manner and overseen the load/unload merchandise from trucks, move material within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other material handling equipment. Operated forklifts or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products. Ensured jobs are staged and pulled prior to installation.
