I was one of three sign fabricators at the shop. We would hand fabricate metal electronic signs that light up. Some aspects are cut with the cnc machine, but after that point it's all hand tools.

I would produce and display any and all signage on the festival grounds. From something as small as a 1-foot by 1-foot sign with a directional arrow to a large 4-foot by 8-foot multi colored graphic vinyl application. most of the signs were made of vinyl cut by a plotter, then the unneeded sections were weeded and the remaining graphics were applied to corrugated plastic sheets cut to a specific dimension. We also used hand printing, painting, but very infrequently. Another aspect of the job was installing the signage. This often incorporated hand tools, power tools, ladders, golf carts and aerial lifts (which I was trained and certified to do) to get the job done.
