When I was a kid I was fascinated by video games. They were worlds with their own rules. And unlike books or movies, they were interactive.My fascination with the virtual landscapes of classic video games laid the groundwork for my lifelong pursuit of innovation and problem-solving within the realms of programming and software development. I was thrilled to attend Ohio State University, on a full scholarship, to earn a computer engineering degree.In the years since, I have worked as a programmer and the main problem solver for a software company. I appreciate the many, varied aspects of the software craft, including how thorough and robust code and commitment can help accomplish many goals.
