Mr. Scharf is a Tax and Assurance Partner with the firm. He has been with the Firm since 1994. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Scharf worked at a public accounting firm as an auditor for 5 years. He has 20 years experience in public accounting and income tax compliance. Mr. Scharf's tax and audit practice includes a variety of entity formations including, but not limited to, sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit, for various types of clients including restaurants, retail businesses, real estate, private entities, among others. Mr. Scharf holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of South Dakota. He is a Certified Public Accountant since 1994, Member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Public Accountants. Mr. Scharf's primary practice areas are as follows: Domestic and Foreign Tax Compliance and Tax Controversy, Audit and Attestation Services, Business and Family Planning and Consulting.
