For me, efficient TV is TV that is made with a lot of passion and smart thinking. Be it in the planning, in the process or in the creation. Only then, you're able to achieve great things even with smaller budgets.For 30 years, I have been able to pursue my passion in the TV business on a daily basis. I have had the opportunity to do almost every job: VJ, cameraman, reporter, editor, CvD, live director, format developer, speaker, editorial director, editor-in-chief, presenter, entertainment director and programme director. With a 360° view, I (helped) build up the biggest private TV stations in Austria: WIEN 1, ATV, ProSieben Austria, pulstv and PULS4. My TV career started in the news sector: from exclusive news stories to award-winning election shows (Wahlarena 2008), which changed the TV landscape in Austria, to the development of Café Puls, the first breakfast TV in Austria, to the development of innovative comedy shows (Best EP Start Ever: "VURSCHRIFTisVURSCHRIFT"). Likewise the conception of much-copied entertainment shows (among others Sehr Witzig PULS4> Sat1,RTL,BR), but also sustainable TV beacons such as the first and most successful StartUp Show in German-speaking TV: "2Minuten2Millionen" or also adapted licensed formats such as "Austria's Next Topmodel", "Ninja Warrior" or "The Masked Singer". In all of these almost 200 season productions, I worked hard together with my team. We may have had smaller budgets but a lot of brain & smart thinking.
