I am honoured to be entrusted with the responsibilities of VP HR of the largest Marketing competition in eastern Canada. I will be responsible of coordinating volunteer rollout with our entire team of executive members, directors, coordinators and volunteers.

As the biggest inter-university academic competition in north america, it is paramount that staff is able to answer all the needs of an event of such size. My team and I have to ensure our volunteers are well prepared and supported, in order to make the experience as pleasurable for the participants as possible.

Assisting various procurement Officers with reconciliation, verification, and payment of invoices, raising of notifications, raising new Task Authorizations, amendments to Task Authorizations. Reviewing work estimate authorization forms for approval. Attending Contract meetings, including progress review meetings as well as on-going contract management meetings. Assisting with filing and creating excel spreadsheets. Assisting with closing out contracts. Completing various mandatory training.

The competition committee is responsible for the recruitment, the creating as well as the training of our different academic teams proudly representing UQO throughout eastern Canada. I was tasked with ensuring the committee performed to the best of its ability in order to maintain the best image possible for our school. I was also tasked to represent our school at different conventions throughout the year, acting as an ambassador to our school.
