This included engagements with such outlets as CBS 60 Minutes, ABC "This Week", and Al Jazeera "Talk to Al Jazeera". Duties also included management of the commander's social media page and other external audience communication as required. Assignment also required close coordination with the Legislative Affairs team to ensure unity of effort on covering multiple topics prior to testimony or Congressional visits. Worked routinely with NATO HQ, OSD, CENTCOM and the U.S. Embassy on interagency communication efforts related to operations in Afghanistan.
