My name is Patrick Serra, I am from Georgia, and I have been a practitioner of woodworking since November of 2014. I started the craft building musical instruments. I attended Atlanta Guitar Works in the United states where I completed multiple sessions under the tutelage of Brian Malone and Gary Wheeler, both of which have been building and repairing musical instruments for 30 plus years. As well as an internship with Warwick and Framus in 2016. I have experience with hallow body, chambered, solid body, neck through, and acoustic guitars/basses as well as finishing. I also wind my own pickups and wire electronics. Carpentry is in my blood, my grandfather on my mothers side was a trades carpenter who built houses and other odd and ends, and my great grandfather on my dads side was a furniture maker back in Italy, and early Chicago days. I inherited that love of building. There is nothing more I love in this world then getting up and getting saw dust all over me, even the smell of zebra wood (which we all know smells like like a farm) is pleasant to me.
