Responsible for the Axial Fan value stream (currently Blades, but will expand into Hubs and Main Bearing Assembly) ensuring to keep all internal stakeholders (including Project Managers) up to date with deliveries, through a developed Masterplan, communication and actively participating in Daily ManagementResponsible for developing and improving the value stream processes (planning, budget, RFQ, negotiation, supplier selection, PO placement, expediting) that drive On Time Delivery (OTD) and cost savings, working with the other value stream members and the Howden Axial/Howden UK Supply Chain DirectorResponsible for the management of key Axial Fan value stream suppliers, working closely with the other value stream members and in co-operation with the Global Category Manager (Castings, Forgings & Machined parts)Manage suppliers to ensure equipment, materials and documentation delivered in line with purchase order requirements and project schedulesExpedite internal functions to ensure purchase orders are placed in line with project schedule requirementsManage the Blade purchasing process including the planning of the various process steps (casting, heat treatment, NDT, machining, straightening)

Global Planning for the Nacelle and Hub portion of the business. Receiving the global demand from the Demand Planning team, and turning this into a Supply plan. Advising our global suppliers of the two year ongoing forecasts, and working closely together with the internal Purchasing team, to ensure synergies and purchasing enabled across the global supplier base to cover the ongoing customer requirements. Also considering the capacities and leadtimes of the various suppliers, and the expected spend and product mix of these suppliers
