Patrick Sharrow works as an Airport Planner for Dubois & King. Prior to joining D&K, Patrick worked for Hoyle, Tanner & Associates as a senior aviation planner and served as the Director of Aviation for the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority. As the Airport Manager for the Ogdensburg International Airport (New York) Patrick managed more than $21 million in expansion projects to extend their runway and airport facilities to support additional commercial airline service. Additional aviation experience includes 10 years as an Airport Operations Specialist at Burlington International Airport (Vermont) where his focus was on airfield safety and security. As an acting Airport Security Coordinator, Patrick has experience creating and implementing Airport Security Plans for commercial service airports. In addition to his experience in airport management and operations, Patrick started his career in the airline industry working for jetBlue Airways as a lead crewmember. He has experience in airport planning and development, marketing, and both landside and airside operations. Patrick is active in emergency planning in both the airline and airport environment, has training in Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Programs and has the ability to lead groups in an effort to link local community emergency plans to the National Incident Management System. Patrick earned his bachelors degree in aerospace studies with concentrations in Airport Management, Aeronautical Science, Human Factors, and Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He later received his Masters in Business Administration from Norwich University with a concentration on Organizational Leadership and Change Management. Patrick has also earned the accreditation as an Accredited Airport Executive with the American Association of Airport Executives. He has in-depth knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations and is a licensed private pilot and part 107 UAS commercial pilot. Outside aviation he also owns and operates the HEP Group managing several rental properties in the Burlington area.
