Involvement: I was hired in July of 2011 as a bartender and worked part-time while taking classes and playing Lacrosse at Miami University. I later started serving out on the floor in addition to being a bartender, and this past August I received a promotion to be a manager.

After my three months working for Northwoods, I can attest to the dedication from every employee to achieve that vision. During my summer internship at Northwoods I traveled to client locations specifically located in North Carolina. While there, I supported project teams of 3-4 members install, train, and implement the Compass® software. While traveling, my average work week frequently exceeded 40 hours. I also spent almost a month working with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis where I further developed my financial analysis skills.

Miami University finished construction of its new business school, the Farmer School of Business, in 2010. It was opened to the students for the fall semester. In May, of the year 2011, I was hired as a student employee in the Farmer School of Business's Department of Finance. While there, I aided students, professors, parents, and just about anyone that had questions concerning the study of finance, or had needs for a specific course they may be teaching/taking. I worked part-time while taking class, with an average work week of 9-10 hours.

Premium Painting is a company focused on delivering professional work for individuals in need of exterior home/deck painting. The motto of this company was to deliver premium painting services, without charging a premium price.Following my freshmen year at Miami University, I was brought on to a three man team to paint the exteriors of homes in the Minneapolis/surrounding metro area. The average work week exceeded 50 hours, and included frequent weekend shifts. The team I worked on was determined to meet deadlines, no matter what, and I can remember one specific moment where we worked over the 4th of July holiday to ensure the deadline was met. My summer as a painter developed my skills in stress and time management and is a great example of my dedication to meet deadlines.
