I am a system social entrepreneur who has worked across the fields of global finance, international development, social enterprise, and improving public services. I have set up over 20 different entities, ranging from Asset Management businesses to the fastest growing UK charity in the 21st Century. For the last 15 years I have partner at the Shaftesbury Partnership, a transformative social business that tackles inequality and exclusion at system level.From my teenage years living in North Africa I have had a lifelong interest in the Arab world with particular focus on refugees and conflict resolution.I’m re-entering the full-time world of work after taking a few years where my priority has been looking after my very elderly parents. My current focus is working with the Church of England racial justice unit on extending business opportunities to the communities most affected by the legacy of slavery.
