CurrentPatrick Sia is currently with Business Excellence, DSTA since 2003. He manages and mentors internal quality auditors and shadowed them in their audits to improve their auditing competency. Moving forward towards organizational excellence, he has been helping in identifying gaps and improving various processes and systems within the organization. He has consistently been an excellent performer; an energetic and enthusiastic colleague who is always forthcoming and helpful with ideas and initiatives.At the national level, Patrick Sia has been a MINDEF Excellence Award (MEA) Assessor since 2000 and was elevated to a Lead Assessor four years later, leading team of MINDEF assessors for the MEA. He represents SPRING Singapore (now known as Enterprise Singapore) as a Business Excellence (BE) National Lead Assessor leading more than 20 organizations for various BE certifications and awards. In additional, he also represents Agencies of the national GEMS Up movement and Ministry of Social and Family Development as one of the lead assessors for the Singapore Service Excellence Medallion Award and Business for Family Award respectively.He is also one of the judges for Singapore HR Institute to assess Singapore HR Award and Singapore HR Challenges. With these experiences, he has helped different organizations and MINDEF units strengthen their management systems and processes for high performance. In this respect, he has been recognized by SPRING Singapore (now known as Enterprise Singapore), Singapore HR Institute and Singapore Productivity Association and his peers with a capacity for higher responsibilities and greater challenges.
