1. As the RPO, my role is to lead:1. Institutionalization of biodigester and bio slurry usage in Kenya and Uganda.2.Commercialization of bio slurry 3. Acceleration of biodigester uptake in Kenya and Uganda4. Deepening of access to biodigester finance through provision and management of Hivos Credit Fund.

As a regional program officer, I coordinated the 4S@Scale program targeting 80,000 coffee farmers in both Kenya and Uganda. Specifically, my role was to:Provide technical direction and backstopping as well as strategic advice to ensure that the 4S @ Scale programme activities were implemented in line with the agreed work plan and programme documents,To maintain and effectively manage relationships with programme partners and to ensure they delivered their assigned outputs and outcomes in the highest quality possible and in a timely manner. It also included supporting the development and management of the programme’s monitoring and evaluation system through active consultation and feedback sessions with program’s M&E Specialist.Providing technical support in the development of the programme’s donor reports and other program related reports in high quality and in a timely manner.Generating technical content to inform sharing of Hivos’ experience on national, regional, and international contexts and platforms. Preparing and managing contracts of service providers, partners, and donors through prudent planning and provision technical, logistical, and administrative guidance and making use of Hivos platforms such as Osiris.

I advised the foundation on driving the food and economic security component of their developmental strategies in order to come up with viable enterprises both at the farm level and at organizational levels while producing sufficient food for the 3371 households within the location, and in so doing designed dynamic extension structures that revitalized and invigorated the potato,milk,poultry e.t.c value chains and developed unto-date-kitchen gardens that guaranteed residents not only of required thresholds in food sufficiency but also in accessing the requisite nutritional values all the time.

Food and Retail Challenge Fund (FRICH) was a Project funded by DFID and whose consortium partners were(James- Finlay Kericho, Cooperative College, Cooperative Group UK and DFID ). As a cooperative manager, I:o Coordinated, directed, planned and controlled the resources of Cooperativeo Sensitized and mobilized farmers in Konoin to Join and market their tea through the cooperativeo With the consortium partners, trained farmers on Rainforest Alliance and Fair-trade certification which facilitated the selling of black tea to the UK storeso I was part of a team that initiated the crop diversification study and later piloted the growing of Fine beans, mange outs, and French beans for export to UK.o Won the Transnational Bank Trophy for being the best in RA and FT for two Consecutive years

EADD (I) was a project under Heifer International targeting 110,000 Smallholder dairy farmers in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda and was funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. I was in charge of farmer mobilization, Milk procurement and extension services in Konoin Sub-county in Bomet County where I spearheaded the linkages of dairy farmers to Financial, Agro vet, AI, and animal health services. I was able to raise the milk volumes from 500 litres to over 3500 litres.
