Worked independently as a Solo, OTR, Dedicated, and Regional driver for multiple accounts. Worked remotely for 70 hours a week, for two years. Was responsible for operating and maintaining the condition of a $160,000 power unit, as well as millions of dollars worth of freight every year. Coordinated with dispatchers, fleet managers, HR representatives, mechanics, and safety officers within the company on a routine basis, by telephone, email, and onboard computer. Won the Safety Award for defensive driving in 2018, passed every DOT inspection, and received zero traffic citations. Was disqualified from driving in 2019, after being injured by falling cargo, and spent several months doing physical therapy. When ready to return to work, was afraid of exposing relatives to Covid-19, and decided to live off investments and savings until they were vaccinated. Did not seek out financial assistance during that time.

Interacted with customers and technicians to prioritize maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, coordinated technical and financial assistance from General Motors, submitted warranty and insurance claims, used proprietary DMS software to document services recommended, performed, and refused. Was always willing to take personal action for customer satisfaction if there was a concern that could not be properly addressed in the shop.Left to pursue greater financial opportunities in trucking.

Proctor for online math and science courses for entire high school student body, then-named Cardinal Newman Academy. Also provided some tutoring and technical support services to students, as well as monitoring them during lunch.
