Having left the agency world in April 2020 Patrick is enjoying a much more eclectic existence taking up a variety of positions as either an investor and/or strategic advisor in some well established businesses, as well as truly exciting startup and early stage companies across technology, film & television, fashion and wellness. Patrick began his career in advertising, working for Reeves Robertshaw Needham and Grey on various accounts, including Nike, SmithKline Beecham, Emirates Airlines and United Biscuits. From then on he was hooked on building brands. In 2005 he joined FutureBrand as European CEO and in 2008 became responsible for global leadership of the business as Global CEO across 24 offices. During his 12 years as CEO Patrick developed the formation of the FutureBrand, growing the business organically but also through strategic acquisitions in the digital, product and environmental areas. This included UXUS, Hugo & Cat and Speck. As part of his role as Global CEO of FutureBrand Patrick also served on the McCann Worldgroup Global Executives board as well as the worldwide board of CMG.Patrick thrives on being around talented people who are always looking to define “tomorrow.”When not solving complex branding challenges, he enjoys watching and playing sports and spending time with his wife and three children as well as fuelling his passion for literature, film and medieval history.
