• Led the BDP buy-side financial due diligence engagement for client Greenbriar Equity, while at KPMG. Subsequently hired as Global FP&A leader, reporting to CFO.• Headed comprehensive FP&A function transformation to meet institutional ownership standards. The upgraded FP&A function improved collaboration across functions, and yielded more rigorous and transparent business performance reviews, forecasts, and annual budgeting exercises. • Partnered with global controllership to deliver accurate and timely monthly closes, in addition to driving global accounting policy consistency.• Supported BDP leadership team through the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent global supply chain crisis as the financial details subject matter expert.• Core member of BDP/Greenbriar sale process team.• Post PSA acquisition signing, led pre-close and first 100 day global integration efforts, alongside nominated leader from PSA. • Buy side financial due diligence: Services included various analyses of historical and prospective financial information to highlight key accounting, economic and operational aspects of contemplated transactions. Insight provided to clients verified financial model assumptions, facilitated negotiations, identified potential purchase price adjustments, and established an overall operational roadmap to assist with integration. • Pre-sale financial due diligence: Services included similar buy-side work discussed above, in addition to teaming with client’s investment banker regarding historical and prospective financial matters communicated to bidders, facilitation of bidder financial due diligence Q&A alongside client management, and daily interaction with client’s special project divestiture team. • Deal Advisory industry experience straddled a variety of organizations such as industrial manufacturing, consumer products, medical devices, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, aerospace, automotive supply, SaaS, and a diverse assortment of service businesses including but not limited to distribution, consulting, construction, steel mill services, and shale drilling services. • Foundational 3+ years experience in KPMG audit practice, servicing both public and private companies. Industry experience included pharmaceuticals, medical devices, communications/media, software and transportation.
