My Executive Management business career stretching back to the 1980s has been wholly engaged in the field of banking and financial services from operations in the UK, Germany and Ireland, specifically in the negotiation of high volume international financings and commercial contracts.A significant focus of that work has been in the transportation sector in both the shipping and aviation industries providing supportive finance for the acquisition of capital assets through direct funding or via structured and tax-oriented transactions.Exceptional and sustained growth and profitability has been achieved by these activities.That span of involvement and its progress through the highly cyclical events of the past 4 decades has provided me with a significant resource of experience in managing the required financing functions relevant to changing circumstances in several senior positions across multi-cultural institutions.My banking career has seen me taking senior responsibility for a wide range of disciplines (marketing, personnel, credit and liquidity management) and dealing with various regulatory and corporate governance regimes.Sustained success in business has been a key driver throughout my career and has provided a proven track record in management and business generation in international markets culminating in a wealth of knowledge for application in our ever changing financial markets.I now bring that wealth of experience to various non-executive directorships roles and mentoring within a range of both regulated financial institutions and the aviation leasing sector.
