In charge of overseeing the curriculum (National Curriculum for UK and Wales) and its implementation; overseeing and working with my Deputy Head and the Deans of the various Grades and the subject Heads and the teachers. Marketing the school to new parents; last port of call in the discipline hierarchy; writing the Primary School Policy for the school.

In charge of all Years up to matriculation. When I started the post of Department Head there were 32 students doing History in Year 12 ('Matric') out of just over 200. When I left, there were around 200 out of 230 doing History in Year 12. Making the subject interesting and relevant were my main goals.
