Patrick holds a postgraduate degree in Psychology and has over 26 years experience in the care sector primarily with children and adolescents. Patrick's experience incorporate Australia and SingaporePatrick also has experience working with adults with physical disabilities when he spent 2 years working at the Movement for The Intellectually Disable (MINDS) in Singapore. Patrick was initially employed as a Youth Worker but soon developed skills in Centre Management and was given the opportunity by the funding body in his first role within 6 months of joining the organisation.In 2015, Patrick was appointed as a Justice of Peace by the Attorney Generals office, Australia.As part of his role, Patrick supports staff, volunteers and student placements in the areas of employee relations, workplace rights and responsibilities, skills development and mediation.In 2019, Patrick was the recipient of a a Community Person of the Year Award 2019 by the United Indian Australia at their Star Awards Night 2019. At the City of Parramatta 2020 Australia Day Awards, Harris Park Community Centre was the WINNER in the category of Community Group. In addition to that, Patrick was a Finalist at the Australia Day Awards - Arts and Cultural Category. Patrick has managed to attain for the Harris Park Community Centre a highly Commended Award at the Australia Day Awards 2019 as organised by Parramatta City Council, in his 18 months being employed as Manage of the centre. Patrick has been appointed as a WHITE RIBBON AMBASSADOR in 2019.Patrick sits on the Committee of an Indian Sub Continent Domestic Violence Advisory Group Committee.Patrick is also a Panellist at a Fathers and Sons event for Fathers Day 2019 organised by City of Parramatta Council, NSW Police, ADIS and AWG.Patrick was part of the 16 Days Of Activism Event held at Parramatta Police Station in partnership with City of Parramatta Council, Police NSW. In 2020, patrick initiated the Purple bench project to highlight and get people to start a conversation about Gender Based Violence and Domestic Violence. This was the first of its kind in NSW. Patrick currently is the President of True Blessings Incorporated (Australia) and was Secretary of the Little India Harris Park Business Association in 2021-2023.
