Sir Mark Walport's report into distributed ledger makes clear the need, in recommendation 2, for collaboration between bodies such as the Whitechapel Think Tank and the Alan Turing Institute. Patrick has been a member for 6+ years and was an early advocate for close co-ordination between the various interests across varied sectors.
