My name is Patrick Spruell and I love the aspect of challenging myself in every day situations that come about, not only in life, but also in the Construction Industry in which I have worked in since I was Twenty.At a young age I would have considered myself and introvert. When sports came into my life, I felt my personality and competitiveness made a complete 360. I competed in mostly every sport growing up; however, joining the wrestling team when I was 13, at Jesuit High School of New Orleans, totally changed my perspective on life. I felt wrestling, in particular, required more individual commitment than any prior sport I competed in growing up. Having to meet weight class requirements while maintaining my focus and drive around the clock, for years at a time, started to instill in myself a strong work ethic. Although I may have experienced failure and success, along with enduring physical, emotional, and psychological stress (both positive and negative) the greatest attribute to come from it all was the work ethic and teamwork instilled in me. I never realized how much of an impact wrestling had on my life and future career until I could see first hand that work ethic and teamwork became my greatest strengths.I feel the Construction Industry is very similar to the sport of wrestling. Its not the same thing day in and day out. Something different happens every day and one must lean to either face it head on or let it slip by.
