My professional experience includes twenty-four years of product design, engineerring, and analysis of military and aerospace products, and consumer and medical products. As Mechanical Design Lead, duties include all aspects of product development, concept through manufacturing, project management, planning and scheduling, performing design for manufacturing on machined components, sheet metal components, fiberglass components, carbon fiber and honeycomb engineered components, weldment assemblies, cables and harnesses, and tooling.I currently design and engineer Tethered Surveillance Aerostats and Surveillance Airships for ISL. Previously I have designed and engineered high voltage power supplies and radar pressurization sets for B-52 aircraft. I have designed and engineered mission specific aerospace flight hardware for crystal growth in space furnace facilities flown on the Space Shuttle. I have designed numerous consumer products, including diswasher components, cookware, wheelchairs, weather radar receivers, and aftermarket automotive components.Specialties: Specialties include over fifteen years experience in the application and use of Pro/ENGINEER through release Creo 2.0. I have approximately ten years experience in the application and use of Pro/MECHANICA. Additionally, I use ANSYS for FEA structural simulations, and CFDesign for computational fluid dynamics and thermal analysis. I also have four years experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windchill PDMLink through version 10.2.
