Also invited are allied military forces from the Pacific Rim nations.In 2010, was selected to serve as Leading Chief for all coverage planning and production for the exercise, managing a multi-force, multinational team of 40 photographers, journalists and action officers. Acted as a central release point for all media collected during the exercise, and coordinated transportation for external media coverage aboard the naval vessels involved with the exercise. Also established and managed a Social Media program for the first time in the exercise's history. Received decoration of the United States Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for the impact made during the exercise.Provided video, still, and print coverage of four National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day events. National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, which is observed annually on December 7, is to remember and honor all those who died in the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Provided still, video, print coverage, and media escorting for internal and external media products.Completed Associates Degree in Communications during off-duty time.

Conducted weekly classroom training and daily cross-training. Established subject matter experts for each rating and authored a personnel qualification standards check-off sheet. Provided feedback and updates to leadership on progress made and fully-qualified the department within six months, making USS Lincoln the first carrier in the fleet with an established 'Media Department'.- Following a six-month deployment, volunteered to prepare ship spaces for rehabilitation prior to a scheduled dry dock period. As tile-team supervisor, gathered measurements for outstanding repair orders from over 100 spaces, verifying documentation and providing dry dock supervisor with an organized database.- During dry dock period, was hand-selected to serve as Quality Control assistant responsible for tracking repair work completed on Lincoln during dry dock period. Organized and tracked over 200 repair requests for ship's flight deck and steam system, ensuring any documentation discrepancies were identified and corrected. Recognized for efforts by being selected Temporarily Assigned Shipyard Worker of the month.

Efforts resulted in 100% retention and 75% promotion rate.- Charter member of the National Association of Naval Photographers, Northwest Region.- Provided one-hour weekly photographic training to local Everett High School students.- Identified inadequate electronic imaging equipment for the facility. Provided research for updated computer equipment, and provided quotes for a new scalable electronic imaging system. - Designed new standard operating procedures for electronic imaging products. By using templates for the most common job requests, increased productivity and lowered production times for digital imagery projects.- Led all efforts to replace aging, inefficient chemical process film and print processors with smaller, more efficient equipment. Change of equipment reduced the facility's Hazardous Material footprint considerably, removing the need for silver recovery and greatly reducing the amount of contact that employees had with chemistry. - Led the transition from film-based cameras to digital, removing the need for chemical film processing in the facility and greatly reducing product turnaround times. Standard production times effectively went from 1-2 days to same day service.- Established a digital archiving system for the facility.- Donated old film cameras to Everett High School photographic department.- Acted as point man for Fleet Imaging during three Seattle Sea Fairs, providing imagery of Parade of ships in Seattle bay, Blue Angels and parades.
