Patrick Sullivan, CFP® is a Founding and Managing Director of Private Advisor Group (N.J.), one of the largest independent advisory firms in the Northeast. As one of the original founders of the firm in 1997, Mr. Sullivan has helped Private Advisor Group grow to nearly 350 financial advisors who manage over $8 billion dollars in client assets. With a distinguished career including over 17 years experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Sullivan provides Private Advisor Group clients with expertise on life events like retirement and estate planning and provides investment strategies. Mr. Sullivan began his career in 1984 with NYNEX (now Verizon) in various management operations and finance positions. After pursuing his MBA, Mr. Sullivan decided to change careers in 1994 and became a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors. In 1997, Mr. Sullivan wanted more choice of products and services for his clients and decided to affiliate with LPL Financial Services in late 1997, creating Morristown Financial Group, which would become Private Advisor Group. An active community participant, Mr. Sullivan acts as Chair of the Board of Directors for Good Grief Inc., a non-profit that has provided peer support groups for over 100 families that have lost a parent or sibling. He is also an active member of the Family Ministry committee at Corpus Christi Church.
