We just need to have a good idea of what we’re looking for. You have to be able to respond to the needs of our clients, which are generally banks. The big challenge is extracting the information the bank needs from people who are experiencing financial and emotional difficulties. You have to gain their trust so they can give you the information you need.”​In the end, Patrick gets the most satisfaction from a business turnaround that’s feasible for all parties. “Not only will the bank be happy because it will be able to continue to work with that particular client, but it establishes loyalty so we can transfer the client to an audit partner.”​
