I attended and graduated from East Carolina University. I participated in many extracurricular activities including playing and serving as the player-coach of the ECU Mens Lacrosse team. Of note, I was also elected by the other team members to the position of Captain and selected to represent the team as it's Vice President on the Club Athletics Council. During these years I learned how to provide purpose, direction and motivation to influence others and achieve our mutual goal of being a team. While attending ECU I lead many projects in and outside the classroom and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Communications. I loved this experience because it helped me become independent and realize that I have the ability to accomplish so much more in the coming years. After graduation, after traveling through Europe, I took a chance and moved to Park City, Utah and became a certified Ski Instructor. I worked at Deer Valley Resorts teaching youth and children with disabilities, including children from disadvantaged environments, to ski and enjoy athletics and recreation. I developed as a coach and mentor. I learned that loyalty, respect and integrity are more than just words, they are actions and ways of life. I have also worked with No Greater Sacrifice Foundation assisting the staff as they provide scholarships to military children of wounded service members and our fallen so their children can achieve their college degrees. All of these life experiences have given me the foundation to become the leader I am today.
