Provided leadership throughout all phases of a turnaround and is responsible for optimizing turnaround outcomes by executing the Zero-Incident project within budget, on schedule, and ensuring that the required operability is achieved. Responsible for coordinating preparation for turnarounds in accordance with the turnaround best pratices. Interaction with operations, maintenance, supply chain, engineering, HSES, and business, as well as senior management.* Ensure adherence to Turnaround Best Practices for all assigned turnarounds* Ensure that full safety planning and communication is completed for all processes and personnel for the turnaround* Manage all phases of the turnaround in accordance with established schedules, budget, and customer requirements* Recognize critical issues and act on them to preclude turnaround problems* Work with turnaround and area personnel to monitor, report, and document the progress of work and provide feedback on budget and schedule deviations* Lead Turnaround Phase-Gate Reviews and provide regular updates to steering teams

• Responsible for the safe and effective planning and scheduling for all Maintenance and Capital project activities associated with turnarounds in various refinery units. • Maintaining long range TA and catalyst change out schedules that are in alignment with core business strategies.• Responsible for performing and maintaining Tank Farm API-650 inspection and coordinating and executing all API-653 repairs. • Responsible for implementation and execution of Maintenance Expense and Capital Projects including all process unit catalyst replacement.

• Oversee unit operations for 90,000 B/D Crude/VRU/DHDS/SRU.• Process Complex operating budget and implementation including capital and expense AFE’s.• Operations TA Manager/Coordinator in support of the plant wide 2002 and 2005 Fall Turnaround.• Program administration of PSM and ISRS.

• Oversaw facility operation reporting directly to Operations Director.• Blending and finalizing finished product tanks for pipeline and dock deliveries.• Formalizing operations and unit transition reporting mechanisms for Managers and Complex Operations Superintendent.
