I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Cone Lab at the University of Michigan. With PI Roger Cone, our lab works on the central control of energy homeostasis, concentrating on the central melanocortin system, a complex set of neural circuits they have demonstrated to regulate a variety of physiological processes important to energy homeostasis. My research aims to decipher the neural circuits in the brain involved in feeding behavior. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how emotion and memory regulate feeding behavior and the neural circuits that govern these relationships.
