•Manages the continuous operational execution for delivery of quality products on time and within budget. •Oversees all manufacturing processes from sourcing of raw copper through finished goods for 2 Value Streams (Residential and Commercial) 40 assets/500 SKUs. • Forms, manages, leads, develops, and maintains effective teams; oversees training and performance of 200+ reports; optimizes production by fostering employee engagement and driving teams’ success. •Orchestrates and leads major improvements across production and modernization processes; implements and spearheads continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives for the production floor.•Directs all training and manufacturing improvement projects: T3 training, Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions, Kaizen, 8D projects; supports Maintenance and Supply Chain to resolve operational/process issues.•Sets and controls $3M monthly operational budget (fixed and variable costs); oversees operational supply purchasing and CapEx for current $130M plant expansion and improvement projects. •Manages all contracts, bids, inventory leveling, and vendor relations for consumables, including tooling and dies, for the production floor: ~ $50K per month.•Conducts Supervisor training in leadership fundamentals, company policy and state requirements to achieve quarterly educational goals and influence the internal advancement of 50% of staff.•Spearheads the Gate Review process and reporting resulting from collaboration with Corporate Modernization and Accounting departments. •Implements and monitors all Safety and Quality initiatives pertaining to production, including PPE, guarding, VPI, safety training, process changes, implementations and follow up; performs training needs assessments. •Executes lean methodology within Value Streams to consistently identify risks and waste, initiate mitigation and corrective action strategies, minimize process variation, and improve process value.
