Based in Hong Kong (until 2004), reported to the Global Head of Securities Lending Asset Management and responsible for the financing and investing activities in the Asia Pacific Region (APAC).Established the region and new desk in Hong Kong with 2 portfolio managers reporting in to me. Designed, planned and launched the AU$ securities lending client cash portfolio product to broaden our customer offerings and to add increased revenue to the business’ P&L.Grew assets under management to approximately AU$15B while constantly driving bottom line results.Implemented re-structuring activities as a result of the merger of the Morgan Stanley global custody business and the acquisition of the client cash portfolios inherent in the business. This required working through all the country structures, partner relationships and funding & investing plans while respecting numerous legal processes and regulatory oversight.Member of the regional Securities Lending management team and Fiduciary & Compliance Committee
