- Responsible for accurate commercial loan sizing, structuring and pricing and overall risk assessment prior to the issuance of an application, utilizing specific Investor underwriting guidelines and requirements, to ensure quoted business and credit terms are deliverable, competitive and reliable.- Analyze, structure and quote Tax-Exempt, Taxable and Preservation multifamily debt structures on both an Immediate Delivery and Forward Delivery basis. Work with originators to determine most appropriate transaction structure and resolve outstanding business and credit issues.- Work with loan originators to utilize the various balance sheet capital sources provided by M&T Bank, in tandem with Agency programs, to provide competitive and flexible financing structures to the company’s borrower channels.

- Responsible for screening, pricing and structuring Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae debt sourced through various origination channels within CPC. Successfully manage a pipeline of loan requests, screen transactions, and issue FRE and FNM applications to Borrowers.- Tasked with guiding NYC, Hudson Valley and Syracuse offices and their respective customers through transaction structuring and quote acceptance. Successfully signed up and closed FRE TAH, FRE Conventional and FNM MAH.

Maintained a thorough understanding of both software and hardware in the campus computer labs. Attained knowledge of software diagnostics and reporting, and engaged with a network of IT Consultants to use available resources to solve unfamiliar problems.

- Financial statement analysis (corporate and personal financials) and financial model development to evaluate the creditworthiness of both the Borrower and Guarantor. Supported underwriting of models for real estate transactions between $5MM to $90MM. - Analyzed companies' financial and operational strengths/weaknesses including leverage, key risk factors, sources of repayment, cash flow, and ability to service debt. Information presented to Team Leader and Credit Officer each week.- Performed industry research, market overview, rent comparables, cap rate analysis, and Sponsor analysis in preparation of various presentations, including new money credit memorandums and transaction screens, for Senior Management. - Performed site visits for new construction and stabilized units to assess construction timing and gauge asset performance. - Prioritized team pipeline and interacted daily with Relationship Managers, Clients, Potential Investors, Attorneys, as well as Accountants for analysis of transactions and documentation follow-up.
