As a healthcare social worker at Kalafong Hospital, I offer services to patients facing various challenges, such as chronic illness, mental health issues, substance abuse, and domestic violence. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, and other social workers to provide holistic, patient-centered care while advocating for patients' rights and needs. I also conduct research on social issues and policies that impact the health and well-being of the communities I serve.In addition to my social work role, I am a medical technician, researcher, and scholar. I hold a Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where I developed expertise in human behavior, social justice, ethics, and research methods.I am a published author, with my book Let It Summer's Love Not Over recently released. I have also published a poetry eBook on Amazon titled Let It Burn. My creative pursuits in poetry and photography allow me to express myself and connect with diverse audiences.Through my participation in the Common Purpose program, I have gained exposure to diverse perspectives and cultures, enhancing my leadership and communication skills.
