Patrick Thames is a Team Lead working out of Consumer Cellular’s Oklahoma City Call Center Location. While at work, he seeks out complex problems and provides ingenious solutions. His work is evenly split between customer-facing and company- facing, handling escalated customers in the former and coaching all tiers of employees in the latter. Much of his work is predicated on his technical prowess with Telegence and other proprietary softwares, helping customers join and exit the company with as much ease for them as possible. Some of the other internal work Patrick does is help bolster morale by converting raw KPI metrics into palatable spreadsheets thanks to his mastery of the Microsoft Office suite. Many know him in the office as the person with all of the answers, with multiple departments counting on his skills. Patrick has also successfully coached many agents in porting, making it much easier for them by breaking down how porting works with the company. When he’s not working (and distracted by his cat, Vino), Patrick spends his time working away at different writing projects, ranging from tabletop game design to fiction projects. He has written one novel, and is currently editing his second, a collaborative work with another writer who wishes to remain anonymous. While with friends, he enjoys playing a variety of tabletop games, even coaching several friends into nationally recognized champions. It’s sufficient to say that Patrick not only loves solving problems, but helping others learn how to solve the very same.
