• Xbox Console and Consumer Software:
• Wrote device drivers responsible for supporting the microphone array and the color image sensor of the Xbox Kinect Motion Sensor. Required close interaction with the device firmware and careful consideration for issues.
• Member of the “Emulation Ninjas”, the team responsible for emulating the behavior of the original Xbox on the Xbox 360 for the purpose of running the original Xbox games. Area of focus was the optimization of the code.
• Member of the small team responsible the C/C++ language compiler for the Windows CE targets: ARMv5, Thumb, MIPS, and SH4. Focus on generating smaller, faster code than previous releases; performance improved 10-30%.
• Member of the small team that wrote the C/C++ compiler for Microsoft Visual C++ for Macintosh. Required implementing and proving new compiler technology and adapting it to the idiosyncrasies of the Motorola 68000.
• Led small team responsible for the Microsoft Visual C++ for PowerPC/NT V4.0 compiler. Responsibilities included coordinating with other product teams and internal customers, and implementing C/C++ language features.
