New position at AFR QA, dealing with Foreign Authority Agencies to apply to, obtain and maintain associated Part145 approvals.This ist roughly 30 Part145 Certificates to manage, with associated regulatory watch, oversight audits coordination and facilitation between Foreign CAA and our internal industrial Business Units.

Engineering team manager for our B737-2/3/500, on mech systems, APU, LDG and CFM56-3.Learnt a lot by doing the engineering support for our Thai customer NOKAIR, for its B737-400.Had to make proof of adpativeness and mind opening, to manage different cultural approaches, as well as external customer oriented service, which was pretty new for us.Had to manage also the end of AFR B737 activity in my perimeter, and support my staff in change.

As of today, my best job opportunity, where I learnt a lot of things.Have built a Workscope for third-party repairs on our APU85, as well as for our APS2000 APU.Have then discovered a new side of the engineering job, by attending in-shop teardowns and expertises, validating repair invoices according to finding reports and contracts.Learnt also a lot on reliability issues / improvement plans / building KPI, by sharing activities and metrics during the APU Excellence Team, that AFR and formerly APIC (now UTAS) built together from 1999.
