The Deputy Security Manager is accountable for the effective implementation of security services and systems in the area of investigations, auditing, physical security, security guard services, security awareness and legal compliance.Act as the escalation point for all security incidents and coordinate a rapid and effective cross- sectional response to major incidents including escalation, follow-through, dissemination of workarounds, resolution advice and closure.Maintain a good working relationship with the EMEA and the US legal and regulatory departments to understand and influence emerging and proposed legislation to ensure the business meets all legal compliance requirements, make recommendations for future improvements to upper management on operational and technical matters, ensuring consistency and compliance across internal boundaries and use of best practice.Working with operations, engineering, architects, developers and supplier representatives in the design, implementation and maintenance of security services and legal compliance systems for various IT and security projects in Europe.Communicates within various groups and has extensive experience in setting up new activities, managing IT projects, supervising and sourcing security personnel and maintains a good working relationship with Law Enforcement and Intelligence communities.
