Passionate about extracting valuable insights from data and constantly seeking to expand my knowledge, I consider myself somewhat of a modern-day Sherlock Holmes in the world of data analytics. With a background in Economics, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree, I have developed a strong foundation for understanding complex economic phenomena.Additionally to pursuing my Ph.D., I currently serve as a Data Scientist and Researcher at RWI, a leading research institute specializing in economics and policy consultancy. In this role, I immerse myself in data on a daily basis, using my expertise to generate insights, create visually impactful graphs, and run regression models. My role is split between conducting independent research and collaborating on external projects, often in partnership with governmental institutions, helping them make informed decisions. My responsibilities at RWI extend beyond my own research projects. I also collaborate on external projects, providing data-driven support to governmental institutions and delivering impactful reports and research papers. It is immensely fulfilling to see my work contributing to evidence-based policy-making.One of my key strengths lies in my ability to adapt to new settings and quickly learn new tools and methodologies. I possess strong Python skills, particularly in data science libraries such as pandas, numpy, geo-pandas, or scikit-learn, as well as proficiency in web scraping (BeautifulSoup) and automation. Additionally, I am well-versed in R, using it for advanced analytics and data pipelines (R's targets package). Equally important, I excel in presenting my work, having had the opportunity to share my insights at workshops, seminars, and conferences on an international stage.I am driven by the excitement of uncovering hidden patterns in data and utilizing them to make a meaningful impact.
