The main responsibilities of this role included defect investigation and repair of pipework, valves, Centrifugal and HVAC pumps/motors, Centrifugal separators such as Alfa Laval BRPX and Westfalia CSA whilst working under a safe system of work. Some of these repairs are breakdown but where tasks are routine, scheduling and planning is carried out. During these tasks the importance of controls whilst breaking containment is of paramount importance with the need to register and carry out the correct flange management techniques i.e. Torquing and tagging. GRAPH Engineering, July 2011 – October 2012Lead installation technician Scheduling and planning of multi-disciplined teams in order to achieve deadlines and targets. This included duties such as creation of method statements and writing risk assessments to allow installation of various pieces of handling equipment such as elevators, conveyors, storage silos and grain dryers. Other duties involved welding/fabrication, forklift driving and directing of cranes.
