As an experienced nonprofit leader and arts educator, I am passionate about using the arts as a tool for community engagement, education, and social justice. With a career spanning over two decades, I have successfully led teams, developed innovative programs, and increased organizational impact in every role I've undertaken.Currently serving as the Executive Director of Creative Action in Austin, TX, I work alongside a dedicated team to refine and implement our strategic vision, ensuring that our mission of empowering young people through the arts remains at the forefront of everything we do. Previously, as the Artistic Director at Raleigh Little Theatre, I spearheaded the design of eight seasons of artistic and educational programming, managed diverse initiatives in antiracism and justice, and maintained a strong community presence. My work expanded programming and fostered a deeper connection between the arts and the community.Throughout my career, I have maintained an active presence in the community, collaborating with other organizations, driving fundraising efforts, and increasing visibility for the arts.
