Full responsibility for national sales force of 25 people, including: establishing and meeting growing sales goals; assigning sales resources to geographic and product markets; writing and adjusting commission plan; joint calling on customers; evaluating sales performance; handling all personnel matters; managing new product development and marketing (for most of tenure).

Full responsibility for all accounting, finance and budgeting functions for Ryland's mortgage-backed securities issuance and administration business with total revenues of $70 million and after tax income of $17 million. Also managed a large cash management operation with average cash balances of $100 million. Directed all financial activities associated with the sale of the business in 1995, including leading interaction with external auditors, prospective buyers, placement agent and executive management.
