Strategic Management of the following areas/functions:Warehousing- ensure effective and efficient performance storing and delivering our products at Head Office (HO) and nationally to our internal and external customers, both in South-Africa and overseas.Logistics - External Supplier Contracts- negotiate and maintain major operational contracts, e.g. national & international freight, freight forwarding, etc.Inventory and Procurement – timely forecasting, ordering and management of inventory to ensure optimum delivered-in-full- on-time (DIFOT) performance while maximizing stock turnover in collaboration with the Sales function.Company facilities – negotiate and manage leases, maintenance and security at all branch properties.Service – ensure the profitable performance of our internal service departments, uniformity in the procedures of said departments, ongoing strategy development to support the sales function & customer base to provide service excellence and warranty backup of all our equipment in the field.Training- ensure appropriate & adequate technical training is conducted throughout each year for both WN service staff and our customers.Spare Parts – manage the range, pricing, availability at product launch and thereafter to supply our internal service and external customers of all parts.Strategic partners- identify these where viable for supply of spare parts to ensure optimum parts backup for all our machines. OH&S – responsible for the policies and procedures and reporting of all OH&S issues within the company and to ensure we comply with national/state laws while continuously working with all managers and staff in WN to provide a safe sustainable working environment for all employees.Attend training internationally when required.Travel national / international as required to ensure all duties are performed to best of ability.Support the international sales functions such as Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland etc.Senior Management Board – sit on the board and contribute to the strategic direction and profitability of the business overall.
