As the Procurement Excellence Manager at SHV Holdings, Patrick is responsible for designing and implementing strategic initiatives that optimize procurement processes across the organization. He leads key projects, establishes metrics for performance, and liaises with multiple stakeholders cross the different Groups, ensuring efficient procedures for Indirect Procurement. Patrick’s responsibilities furthermore focus on leading continuous improvements, and supervising tools and methodologies related to the full Procurement domain.Within SHV and Groups, Patrick promotes capability development, fosters team skills, and enables knowledge sharing across the organization.Key initiatives launched by Patrick within SHV Family of Companies:► SHV Procurement Academy: Global training and community building program for Procurement professionals to learn the SHV-way of Strategic Sourcing, Negotiations, and Category Management with currently nearly 70 people form 17 countries trained► Procurement Performance Management-platform: Global platform actively used for Procurement Pipeline Management and Value Tracking to report Indirect Procurement performance to CFOs and Executive Board► Digital Procurement Lab: cross-Group and -Function interviews and workshop to assess current system landscape, capability maturity, and business priorities within Digital Procurement, leading to our joint 3-year roadmap► Spend Taxonomy and Classification: Definition of a meta-taxonomy across our different companies, with AI-enabled classification of over EUR 1bln in Indirect Procurement spend

Executed broad range of Programs within the Sourcing & Procurement domain, acting in different roles as Program Manager, Functional Lead, Subject Matter Expert:► Leading the Business Blueprint Design for a major insurance company, resulting in definition of Category Management Strategy, Buying channel definition, and Procure-to-Pay processes.► Driving the Design and Solution implementation for the Source-To-Contract capability at a large online retailer.► Responsible for the Sourcing Suite-Program at of one of the largest Oil&Gas companies in Europe, bringing together 5 departments for end-to-end Procurement process definition and software selection, while defining a 2-year roadmap for client’s Digital Procurement journey.► Managed a global team in the creation of an organization-wide platform for 7 countries consisting of best-of-breed processes and tooling to cater for the Procurement needs (Demand/Pipeline Management, Advanced Contract Management, Data & Insights) of a leading Building Materials distributor, to support the business case of over EUR 40mln EBITDA improvement.► Implemented Program-wide Governance and Delivery structure towards successful roll-out of BPO process improvements at a major Global Logistics company.► Supported a European Confectionary company to define a company-wide Data & Analytics Strategy, and designed the Operating model for establishing their Business Intelligence capability.► Drove several large-scale End-to-End Procurement (Source-to-Contract, Purchase-to-Pay), and MDM Programs at a Global Beverage company with multi-disciplinary teams for over 17 countries – laying the foundation to achieve over EUR 200mln annual recurring savings within the Procurement domain.
