As a dedicated Technical Service Representative at AgroFresh, I specialize in providing expert support for the application of post-harvest agricultural products. My role involves ensuring optimal fruit quality and compliance with food safety standards by monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving the application of fungicides, waxes, sanitizers, and other key products. With hands-on experience in both technical and laboratory settings, I am skilled in conducting lab tests, calibrating and installing equipment, and developing solutions to complex fruit conditions and post-harvest fruit packing issues. My journey in the agriculture industry began with a solid educational foundation. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science from California State University, Fresno, and an Associate Degree for Transfer in Plant Science from Modesto Junior College. During my academic career, I gained valuable knowledge in plant biology and Agriculture industry practices, complemented by hands-on experience in nursery production and horticulture working at Fresno State.In my current role, I leverage my skills in lab testing, data analysis, and equipment maintenance to drive product performance and customer satisfaction. I’ve successfully conducted multiple trials on stone fruit, citrus, and pomes, contributed to product development, and maintained high quality and compliance standards. Previously, as a Lab Technician at Pace International LLC (now AgroFresh), I honed my lab testing and R&D abilities, analyzing data and managing samples. My experience as a Student Assistant at Fresno State’s Ornamental Horticulture Unit provided me with practical skills in all aspects of horticulture production. At the same time, my role as a Co-Facilitator with the Insight Garden Program allowed me to develop strong communication and leadership skills. I am committed to advancing my career in the agriculture industry and continuously expanding my knowledge of Agriculture and industry changes.
