Senior Data Center Technician
CurrentFocusing on Critical Facilities/Data Center management with special attention toward customer service and security. Monitoring and maintaining a stable DC environment and ensuring maximum uptime for our internal and colocation clients. Allocate and manage customer power adds and changes, including tracking/updating CI's, Visio and spreadsheet documents.Develops/generates monthly KPI, power overage and other customer reports, ensuring data is relevant with current needs. Reduced PUE average each of the first 5 years.Apply root cause analysis to understand and address client delivery issues, resulting in improved service quality, prevention and client satisfaction.Developed/generates customer, power and space/cabinet audits. Manage our building automation system, CRAC units, RTU's, cooling towers, PDU’s, UPS, generators and switchgear maintenance including scheduling and change management. Partner with internal support teams and vendors to optimize system efficiency.Developed/maintains MOPs, SOPs and Site Management Guide.Mentor team members in their development by providing feedback, identifying strengths and opportunities, and having continued dialogue about their development. Ensuring ITIL industry standards are maintained.
